Introduction and scope
One Thirteen (“Operator,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), located in the United States, operates Slug and is responsible for the processing described in this policy where applicable.
Slug is a client for YOURLS servers. This policy covers the Slug app and related Slug pages on the One Thirteen website.
Privacy summary
- Slug does not require a One Thirteen account.
- App data and YOURLS credentials are stored locally on your device.
- Link data travels directly between Slug and the YOURLS server you configure.
- One Thirteen does not receive your links, browsing history, or YOURLS credentials through Slug.
- TelemetryDeck analytics are anonymous and limited to product improvement.
- Slug contains no third-party advertising.
Local app data
Slug stores your configured endpoints, API credentials, saved links, organization data, preferences, and other app records locally on your device so the app can connect to your own YOURLS server. Slug does not transmit this data to One Thirteen’s servers.
Slug does not intentionally collect or store personal information, browsing history, or link-usage history for its own services. You remain responsible for the content and privacy settings of information stored in the app and on your own server.
YOURLS server connections
When you use Slug, requests are sent to the YOURLS endpoint and server that you provide. The YOURLS operator, host, network, and other providers involved in that connection may process request information under their own policies. One Thirteen does not operate your YOURLS server and cannot control its logs, security, retention, or privacy practices.
Do not configure Slug with a server or account you are not authorized to use. Review the privacy and security practices of your YOURLS host before sending link data.
Analytics
Slug uses TelemetryDeck for limited anonymous usage analytics. It may process an anonymized installation identifier, named feature events, app version and build, operating-system version, general device type, and an event timestamp.
Slug does not intentionally send TelemetryDeck your API credentials, endpoint contents, saved links, browsing history, link destinations, or link-usage history. See TelemetryDeck’s Privacy Policy and Privacy FAQ.
Purchases and RevenueCat
Slug Plus is a one-time in-app purchase. Apple processes payment-card information, and RevenueCat may process purchase and entitlement metadata to help manage access. The current price and purchase terms are shown by Apple. The Operator does not store or receive your payment-card information. See the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
Security and controls
Slug supports optional biometric authentication and Secure Wipe for local app data. Secure Wipe does not delete links or data stored on your YOURLS server. You are responsible for protecting your device, API credentials, YOURLS server, and backups. No storage or transmission method is perfectly secure.
Third-party services
- Apple: App Store distribution, payment processing, and platform services.
- RevenueCat: purchase-entitlement management.
- TelemetryDeck: anonymous product analytics.
- Your YOURLS provider: the server and infrastructure you choose to connect.
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices.
Retention and deletion
- Local app data remains until you delete it, use Secure Wipe, or remove Slug.
- Data on your YOURLS server is controlled by you and its operator, not by One Thirteen.
- Analytics data is retained for 24 months.
- Purchase and entitlement records may remain as needed to restore purchases, prevent fraud, meet accounting obligations, and comply with law.

Children, changes, and contact
Slug is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have received such information, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
We may update this policy as Slug or applicable requirements change. We will post revisions here and update the “Last updated” date.
